Care & use
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water and polish on Antique finishes, which can strip the patina.
- Clean Plain-finish idols with a mild tamarind or lemon rub, rinse, and dry immediately.
- Wipe off oil, kumkum and turmeric after abhishekam so marks do not set.

What is the difference between the Antique and Plain finish on brass idols?
Antique finish has a darkened, aged look that highlights carved details and needs only dusting, while Plain finish shows the bright natural shine of brass and can be polished. Both are brass; the choice depends on the look you want in your pooja room.
