About this piece
Teapoy
In Indian homes, the teapoy is the low table that anchors the living room: tea cups and snacks for visiting relatives, the morning newspaper, a bowl of fruit, the TV remote. Placed in front of a sofa or diwan, it pulls the seating together and gives everyone a place to set things down. A teapoy also works well on a verandah or balcony for evening tea.
Two styles are available: a Wood top for a warm, classic look that suits traditional furniture, and a Glass top that feels lighter and pairs well with modern sofas. It suits new homes, small apartments and anyone refreshing the hall. Both are on display at our Sullurupeta showroom, and photos can be sent on WhatsApp beforehand.

Questions
Before you buy
Still unsure about a size or finish? Ask us on WhatsApp — a photo of your stove or shelf helps.
What is a teapoy?
A teapoy is the Indian name for a centre or coffee table, the low table placed in front of a sofa or diwan for tea, snacks and everyday items. Ours comes with a Wood top or a Glass top.
Should I choose a wood top or glass top teapoy?
Choose a Wood top for a warm, traditional look that matches wooden furniture, or a Glass top for a lighter, modern look that makes a small room feel more open. Glass shows fingerprints and needs regular wiping, while wood needs coasters for hot cups.
